Conversations with Torland Greene, Jr.

Today we’d like to introduce you to Torland Greene, Jr.

Hi Torland, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
I am a Co-founder of Ars Media Arts Group, we started in 2016 as a group of artists and visual designers creating alternatives for other creatives to showcase their work! We slowly transformed into a creative agency working in all mediums from musicians to comic book artists hosting events, popups, festivals, gallery shows, and more.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There is always adversity when chasing after a dream!

Getting funding and finding sponsors for some of our larger-scale events and showcases has always been an obstacle.

As we grow as an organization we were able to learn from our past events, build rapport with partners and also leverage existing relationships to help us take on bigger challenges.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
The Ars Media Arts Group prides itself on four objectives that serve as its pillars: providing a vision, developing awareness, awarding experience, and capturing uniqueness. It can consult and facilitate artist development, brand development, project funding/sponsorship, and creative direction.

“Our brand-developed service is a top to bottom unique brand-building service that teaches the entrepreneur how to market, who to market to, and where placement is most valuable! We have worked with over 200 different brands building small merchandise popups with Market at Macy’s scaled all the way up to 10,000+ guests at nationally promoted events like SXSW or A3C”.

We are mostly known for our unique pop-ups featuring upcoming talents in various mediums as well as our in-house streetwear brand DGH STUDIOS™.

What are your plans for the future?
Torland and his team hope to raise $250,000 to support creative events throughout the US and possibly abroad in the next five years.

Within the same timeframe, he also intends to have developed 500 artists, creatives, and brands. He also sees himself owning a small workshop that will even further our mission to help provide resources for creatives.

Pricing:

  • Brand Development $250
  • Brand Consulting $150
