Today we’d like to introduce you to Michael Page.
Hi Michael, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
With a prolific history in health care, education, and business, I’ve always been compelled by the aspects of human connection and relationships.
Every human is extremely unique and has gifts both known and unknown. I believe in helping others discover their personal values and gifts. Through self-discovery, coaching, and engagement, personal growth and development are not only possible but highly likely. And aspects of personal discovery become the focal point in self-awareness and presence.
I work with companies, universities, and businesses, both in group and individual coaching engagements to bring potential closer to reality.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The best roads are those less traveled. The best vistas and experiences are on the back roads of life.
The uncommon roads present perceptions of inadequacy, loneliness, and lack of confidence. However, along those paths are moments and co-travelers which provide opportunities for mutual support and engagement making the hurdles productive and yielding.
We’ve been impressed with Michael D. Page, AuD LLC, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I come with 38 years of clinical and leadership experience in the workplace and academic degrees which support my professional focus. Currently, I specialize in workplace culture, professional relationships, ethical practices, and aspects of communication and self-awareness.
I’m unaware of anyone else who specializes in this space, bringing the same aspects of experience and commitment.
I’m most proud of the success I’ve helped foster in a variety of workplaces. The aspects of my brand and offerings actually reduce overhead and costs associated with workplace toxicity and turnover, while building strong and healthy workplace environments.
Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
Salt Lake City is an incredible city with so much to offer: culture, arts, recreation, culinary, performance, history, and more diversity than one would think. It is a city of great virtues. In my travels to Europe, people often said, “Salt Lake City is the cleanest US city we’ve ever visited!” And then let’s talk about great food!
Other than aspects of crime (which are lower than in most cities), I can’t think of aspects I dislike.
