Today we’d like to introduce you to Jeremy Dyson.
Jeremy, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My construction career started with me having no tools, no knowledge, and no right answers… can you start Wednesday, nope do you have a reliable vehicle, no I do not, do you have or can you read a tape again my answer was nope. I honestly didn’t have the desire to work in construction.
I did get that job I did start on Thursday and had some borrowed tools, I started as a residential framer and built homes all around Weber, Davis counties. Was taught to do the tasks by the old timers of how to do it right the first time.
I enjoyed learning from them so much it began to be fun, I picked things up fairly quickly and ended up running a few crews, and in the years following bounced a bit from trade to trade and spent time on each one building up my knowledge of what to do, how to do it, and the efficient way to do all of that at once. 30 years later, here I am, doing things I love to do and doing them for my name.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
People change and I’m one that has for the better.
Where I was and who I was 30 years ago and where I am and who I am today…There are always ups and downs, there will always be more to do and one thing that keeps me motivated is the fact it’s up to me to make the difference of being successful or not.

I am a Handyman… I love to help people meet people and talk with people and doing this allows me to do just that.
I’m helping people who need the things done around the house, that seem to never get done The things that big companies don’t seem to want to help, or don’t have as much money in it for them to do it.
What makes you happy?
Working for myself makes me happy, and working for the people I work for makes me happy I like hearing their stories, and I like to see the things people come up with for me to create for them.
