Today we’d like to introduce you to Daniel Fuentes.
Hi Daniel, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I was living in San Diego in my twenties. I wanted to create a company and provide the best customer service possible. Unfortunately, at that time, I didn’t know exactly what kind of business I wanted to establish. I tried a mobile detail car wash. Then I moved to Salt Lake in 2015 where I tried multiple construction industries such as insulation and foundations.
Two years later, I was invited to try something new and I began working in carpet sales and installation. I learned everything about carpets and excelled in every sense. At last, I’d found the business for me. I began the steps to create my own flooring business, one which can provide a quality product and excellent service for my clients. U.S. Flooring.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Starting my business was quite complicated because I had to start from zero. I was also getting older and it felt like I was running out of time.
The pressure I felt created a lot of stress, but at the same time it helped me push myself to work more diligently through the process. Another challenge came in trusting that the profit would be enough to not only provide for my family but also improve my family’s quality of life.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
We deliver quality and affordable prices. We specialize in Carpets. We are known for our great customer service and prices. What sets me apart from others is the fact we made the job how the customer wants, not the way we want.
We are growing little by little and our customer satisfaction is what I’m most proud of. Our sales are running all year, we protect our valued customers’ economy.
What are your plans for the future?
Our plan in the future is to become a big company that can compete with the other ones in the valley. Especially in two factors: 1- Prices and 2- Customer service excellence.

- $5.50 per yard installation.
- The minimum carpet installation is $130.
- On carpet and padding varies depending on quality and style.
