Today we’d like to introduce you to Alexandra Muller.
Hi Alexandra, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I was scouted in high school to be signed to a modeling agency. I did that leisurely for about a year but decided to go to college once I graduated, which naturally ended my work for that agency. A few years later, after settling into marriage and then motherhood, I decided I wanted to network and focus on modeling and brand collaborations.
I have been able to model for a few local boutiques in Idaho and become a brand ambassador for bigger brands, like Good American. I want to be an example to my children that no matter what age or stage of life you are in, you can work toward your goals.
I also want to show people that moms are people too. Often women lose themselves in motherhood, but finding yourself again, and finding things you enjoy are important too.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
In the modeling industry, women have to be 5’8 or taller. Being a shorter woman, that has caused some difficulty in getting jobs or working with brands.
But despite these challenges, I will continue to push forward because I think everyone deserves to see someone like them in the media!
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a mother of three beautiful children. A three-year-old, a one-and-a-half-year-old, and a two-month-old. I care for all three children during the day while also making content for brands and reviewing products.
I model for local brands I love being able to be home with my kids while also networking and trying to accomplish my goals.
So maybe we end by discussing what matters most to you and why?
My family means the world to me. They are what make me want to work harder and set examples.
I want the world to be a better place for them and the only way that can happen is by changing and bettering myself first. I want them to have a world where they don’t feel pressure from beauty standards or social media.
