Hi Grant, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I grew up on a family farm in Cortez Colorado, where I gained a work hard play hard mentality from my Father. I have always had a passion for creating and capturing memories. This passion led me to start my first business at the age of 16. Lake Amateur is an apparel brand/media company following Lake Powell and surrounding lakes. I put a pause on the company to serve a mission for my Church in Austin Texas.
Since returning from my mission, I have rediscovered my love for creativity in a different form, to help homeowners, real estate agents, and vacation rental owners see a significant increase in their potential to make a larger profit and in return provide a better experience for their consumers.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The past two years have been bumpy, I believe discomfort equals growth. Which is why I have grown so much in my business and as a person in recent years. I found it challenging to find clients at first, but over time I have proven myself and overcome setbacks.
My Mother has been my biggest supporter pushing me to achieve higher, and lift me when I fall, both in business and in my personal life with the health challenges I have been faced with, she has always been in my corner cheering me on.
