Today we’d like to introduce you to Seth Curl.
Hi Seth, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started shooting family vacations on my iPhone when I was 15 years old. I realized right away that I had a love and gift for making video content, as well as developing photography skills later on. I went through high school learning as much as I could and preparing myself to go into full-time freelance after I graduated.
I developed my craft for a few years and eventually got to where I wanted to be. Flash forward to 2023, and I now work full-time as a content creator for one of the biggest churches in the world and also continue to grow my freelance while learning new things about my creative skill sets every single day.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It was smooth up until about a year and a half ago when I decided to take a break from freelance and creating to work on personal growth.
This current season that I’m in has been tough but I’ve learned more about myself and developed deeper relationships with people which has allowed me to re-ignite my creative pursuits and grow more than I ever have before.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I currently work full-time as a content creator for Elevation Worship, as well as do videography freelance on the side. I specialize in video content, but also do some photography as well. I feel like I’m known best for making engaging video edits and films.
I’m most proud of the fact that I’ve been able to do so much and go to so many places at such a young age. I’m only 22, but I feel like I’ve been blessed to do and experience more than the average 22-year-old. I think what sets me apart from others is my optimistic personality and work ethic.
Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
I think I slightly mentioned this but want to emphasize that I absolutely LOVE to travel and try new things. Whether that’s with my video work or just for fun, it’s a huge passion of mine.
