Hi Alessandro, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers.
I have been interested in genealogy since I was young. I researched my family history and found some amazing information about multiple generations of my family in Benevento, Italy. Their stories came to life as I continued to uncover them and discover that each person is important in their way.
I started researching genealogy for other people with Italian roots. I began traveling throughout Italy to obtain old documents and expand family trees. I created a service for people interested in physically visiting their ancestral hometown. This is one of my favorite services to this day because I can introduce my clients to their families living in Italy. That is always such a meaningful experience.
I have been helping my clients obtain Italian citizenship now for many years and offer full assistance to make the process easier. Throughout my experiences working as a genealogist, I found that the process of not only obtaining your documents but applying for citizenship isn’t the simplest. I knew I wanted to help people with the process to make it not only possible but smooth for them.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Like all meaningful journeys, it has not always been the smoothest. Many learning curves come along with research. Discovering the ins and outs of each archive and town are difficult but exciting.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I created a company in Benevento, Italy that specializes in Italian citizenship. genealogical research, and ancestral tours. We help our clients become Italian citizens and their process takes place either in Italy or remotely. We have helped many families obtain Italian passports who didn’t even know they were eligible. The excitement when they receive their passport is memorable each time. We are also genealogists.
We travel throughout the entire country of Italy and put together research projects filled with documents and charts that explain our client’s family history. One of our most beloved services is our ancestral tours. I enjoy putting together a tour to explain and show our clients the life that their families had lived. They also meet their relatives that we locate in Italy. We interpret for them so they can speak with their family and enjoy some amazing Italian food at the same time!
If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
Growing up, I was an energetic child who was always interested in learning new things. I studied English like most children in school but I spent a lot of time and energy to master the language.
I enjoyed languages in general and found time to practice French and German too. I also found chess fascinating and I still play to this day.
