Hi Christopher, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
The Skilled Trade Industry is in dire need of people. In the next 10 years, we are going to see only 1 person replacing every 4 people that are retiring. Our goal is to fight that. Being led by real Tradesmen we are going to be the spokespeople of tomorrow. Educating the community that these Skilled Trades are great careers. They are known to make more money than most college degrees.
Companies that sponsor candidates also pay them to train and also pay the schooling to get certifications as well. Whether you are into Building, Fixing, or Planning; interested people can reach out to us and we will not only get you into a paid apprenticeship but ensure they are treating you well. We are Project Bild and We Need YOU.
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The road to building a company is always an uphill battle.
We have gotten a few people into apprenticeships but still working on getting company sponsorships as well. For the last couple of years, we have been focusing on our content creation and outreach.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
We are set apart from others because we are not a competitor and never will be in the building community.
Our whole goal is to bring people into the field and get them suited with incredible careers so that companies can focus on what they do best, Building America “Literally”.
We’d love to hear about how you think about risk-taking.
There are many risks. The risk of “what if we never make anything”.
We set aside these negatives because we understand what we are doing could be the difference between having running water in your home, being able to have the internet to communicate with the world, and having a safe place to call home 10 years from now.
