The Bicycle Collective in Saint George began with a passion for cycling and a desire to positively impact our community. It all started with a small group of enthusiasts who came together to share their love for bikes and promote sustainable transportation.
We recognized the need for accessible and affordable cycling options for everyone, regardless of their background or income. This drove us to establish programs focused on bike repair, education, and outreach, ensuring that people of all ages and abilities could enjoy the benefits of biking.
Through hard work and the support of our volunteers and partners, we’ve expanded our reach and impact over the years. Today, we’re a hub for cycling in Saint George, providing bikes.
The belief is that bicycles have the power to change lives and communities for the better.

Securing funding and finding a suitable location were initial hurdles. Garnering community support and building a volunteer base took time and effort. Overcoming logistical issues, such as sourcing tools and parts, also posed difficulties early on.
