Meet Mark Marchant

Today, we’d like to introduce you to Mark Marchant. Mark was introduced to us by the brilliant and talented Joshua Marchant.

Hi Mark, we’re so thrilled to have you sharing your story with us today. Maybe we can kick things off by having you introduce yourself to our readers? We’d love to have you go into your story and how you got to where you are today.
I started working with my father when I was 16, and that continued until I was 33. My life has either been as a salesman or as an analyst. I have been in the Automotive Aftermarket, The Janitorial Industry, and the Mortgage industry, both residential and commercial. I have held licenses in the real estate and securities industries. I have worked for Fortune 500 firms and my own independent firm. My career has spanned 54 years. My diversity comes from being an agent for someone and some time. Besides being the father to Joshua I have been his mentor and coach for the last 10 years.

Please tell us more about your brand, Marchandize
Marchandize is a promotional apparel and product development firm in Henderson, NV. The company is developed around and dedicated to the creative ideas of Joshua Marchant. He has created several programs and products that are unique and offer a fresh perspective on how anyone with motivation and persistence can bring products to market and share their knowledge with others. His two most significant projects are Citizen Creator, where he trains others who have the desire to learn and monetize their creations and supply the resources to get the job done. The other and the closest to Josh’s heart is Roscoe’s World. The story is about a dog and his boy in a mystical world where all they are trying to do is get home. Josh’s tenacity got his book and a coloring and activity book published on Amazon, and now he is on the hunt for a Literary agent. A smaller but unique project is “Colorme Shirts”. Josh created an easel on a t-shirt where an outline is put on, and kids can color an image for Roscos World.

Joshua Marchant and Marchandize have been great to us and I know you’ve got a great relationship with them as well. Maybe you can tell our audience a bit about Joshua Marchant and Marchandize and your experience with them.
I was forced to retire due to cancer in 2016. I had some other problems, but the two cancers were the deal killer. All is well now except for the neuropathy, which is a little debilitating, but we plug on nonetheless. I am proud to say Josh is my partner. When he was a baby, I used to watch him fall asleep and wish we could have a business together like my dad and I had done, and it came true. Only 3 men have never let me down: my father, brother, and son. Josh was there for me during my health decline and never left my side. It is that my other children would not have done the same, but they were not here. Josh was.

I primarily act as Josh’s mentor and coach. We are quite good at brainstorming, and I think we can help other creators who might get stuck during frustrating times in their journey. I will probably be of more help in Citizen Creator than Roscoe’s World; Roscoe’s World is all Josh.
