Hi Alyssa, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Hi, I’m Lissy! I’m a licensed Master Esthetician who has struggled with acne most of my life. I have tried product after product in an attempt to not only clear up my acne, but fungal acne as well. I struggled with insecurities from my acne, and knew my clients did also. I wanted to create skincare products that truly made a difference in my acne, my clients’, and as many more people as I could reach. I started this brand with a single product- Mandelic Serum. This magical product cleared up the stubborn acne and fungal acne that I dealt with for years, and truly restored my confidence. Since launching in September of 2022, Lissy Skincare products have helped improve thousands of peoples’ acne.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It took me years of research and and testing out ingredients on my own skin to find what works. Getting started felt very slow, but it was definitely worth it to find the perfect formula.
We’ve been impressed with Lissy Skincare, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Our products are specifically designed to be gentle on all skin types while still being incredibly effective in improving all types of skin concerns, including acne, dullness, hyperpigmentation, tone, and texture. All of our products are acne and fungal acne safe and are formulated with ingredients that support the overall health of the skin. We believe in producing products that are highly sophisticated to give you real results. Unlike most products known to improve acne, all of our products are pregnancy and breastfeeding safe, and safe for all skin tones.
What was your favorite childhood memory?
As a child, some of my favorite memories are being together with my whole family. I have four siblings, and the happiest times for me were always playing games like hide and seek in the dark, cards, or making up dances with my sisters. Even as adults now, these are still some of our favorite things to do!
