Today, we’d like to introduce you to Sheena Brown.
Hi Sheena, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I started Witchy Yoga Girl as that safe space where you can meet new friends, feel confident, and craft to help clear your mind. I noticed that crafting was a therapeutic activity for me and helped me connect with others on a deeper level. I saw the power of creativity in fostering communication and building relationships.
This realization led me to start a crafting group in my community for people to come together, share their stories, and support each other through the ups and downs of life. The response was overwhelming, and I knew I had found my calling. Crafting has become not just a hobby but a passion and a way for me to make a difference in the lives of others.
I am grateful for the journey that crafting has taken me on and the connections I have made along the way. It has truly transformed my life, and I am excited to continue sharing the power of creativity with others.
Alright, let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what challenges have you had to overcome?
There have definitely been challenges along the way. Starting my own business without any financial backing has been tough at times, and there have been moments of uncertainty and stress. Managing the financial aspect of running workshops and yoga has been a learning curve, and I have had to adapt and find creative solutions to keep things afloat.
Building a community and getting the word out about my services has also been a challenge. It takes time and effort to reach people and educate them on the benefits of art therapy and crafting for personal growth and healing.
Despite the obstacles, I have persevered because I believe in the power of what I do and the impact it can have on others. Every success and positive feedback from participants reminds me that I am on the right path, which keeps me motivated to keep pushing forward. Overall, the journey has been a mix of highs and lows, but the rewards of helping others through creativity make it all worthwhile.
I appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Witchy Yoga Girl?
