Today we’d like to introduce you to John Hammond
Hi John, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I wrote a lot as a kid, and finally started writing my book in 2020. It wasn’t until I got married in 2022 that I finally desired to go for it with my wife’s support.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It hasn’t been easy, as an autistic author it was very hard to continue writing. My wife’s support was the true motivator to have my book finally be published.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a first time Author who writes fantasy and sci-fi. I was able to publish my book, Expedition: Into the rift on May 15th of this year, 2024. I specialize in lovable characters and adventure story telling. I try to have people be invested my stories and characters. I’m most proud of taking my book seriously and making it to publication with the help of so many amazing people.
What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
I was able to have an amazing support system including my family, wife, editors and designers who all went above and beyond to get my book published.
