Daily Inspiration: Meet Terrell Norman

Today we’d like to introduce you to Terrell Norman

Hi Terrell, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Boss Bros, our business, was started by the four of us brothers in California, inspired by our mother who sadly passed away in 2016. She was our biggest supporter. We began cooking just for the sake of it, and a friend asked us to cater his son’s birthday party with our now-famous bacon-wrapped hot dogs. This motivated us to show our capabilities and take our mother’s inspiration to the next level by opening a food truck, just as she had always told us we should. We didn’t really take it seriously back then. We were grieving our mother’s death for so long that we eventually gave up. Despite being in contact with each other, we had our own space. One of my brothers moved to Utah shortly after our mother passed away. We occasionally cooked for friends, and the feedback we received was positive, with people asking who taught us how to cook and complimenting our dishes. I moved to Utah in 2018 and had a vision to bring our business to the state, as I saw a need for more great food options. I started in 2020, but we faced setbacks due to the Covid pandemic and were delayed by a couple of months. However, we are now in the process of getting a good truck or storefront, and we are more motivated than ever. We have been part of two amazing events so far and are looking forward to many more. Our hope is to get our name out there and share our business with people who love good food.
