Today we’d like to introduce you to Veronica Stone
Hi Veronica, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Hello, I’m Veronica Stone. I was born in Venezuela, the daughter of Victor Vielma, a teacher and poet from the region, and Ingrid de Vielma, a well-known elementary school teacher. I grew up in Maracaibo, where I studied Social Communication, Advertising, and Public Relations. For 5 years, I worked as a journalist and public relations specialist for several opposition lawmakers in Venezuela.
In 2015, due to the economic and humanitarian crisis in my country, I had to relocate to my second home, Colombia, where my maternal grandparents are from. It was there that I began my career in advertising and marketing at globally recognized agencies, working with brands like MasterChef, Parmalat, McCain, Huawei, Tecate, Buchanan’s, Old Parr, Johnnie Walker, and Bailey’s.
My entry into the prestigious world of marketing came through my involvement in the production team of the second edition of MasterChef Ecuador, where I contributed to the program’s success by creating digital content that set trends in Ecuador and Latin America. This experience was pivotal for both my professional and personal growth. Working alongside renowned chefs and gastronomy figures worldwide, I learned the importance of branding and strategy in a competitive television environment.
This experience inspired me to found Prisca Marketing Services in 2021, a specialized agency focused on enhancing brands and making them shine in the digital realm. However, before that, I faced the challenge of improving my English to continue advancing professionally. For this reason, in the same year, I moved to Utah, United States, as an international student. It was here that I met my husband, a veteran security specialist, with whom I married and now have a 7-month-old baby.
Becoming a mother influenced my decision to stay at home and dedicate all my time to managing my marketing agency, overseeing everything from my computer.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It hasn’t been a completely smooth journey, but every challenge has been an opportunity for growth for Prisca Marketing Services. Some of the struggles we’ve faced include…
Adapting to the changing market: The world of digital and print marketing is constantly evolving. Staying up-to-date with new technologies and trends has been a constant challenge.
Competing in the sector: In a competitive market like Utah’s, standing out among other agencies has required continuous effort to differentiate our services and maintain high standards of quality.
Educating and raising client awareness: Many potential clients don’t fully grasp the value of digital or print marketing, so part of our challenge has been to educate and demonstrate the tangible benefits of our solutions.
Managing limited resources: As a growing company, efficiently managing our resources to meet market demands and maintain client satisfaction has been crucial.
Overcoming economic uncertainty: Unexpected economic events can impact the demand for marketing services. We’ve had to be agile and proactive in adjusting our strategy based on market conditions.
Through these challenges, we’ve learned valuable lessons that have strengthened us as a team and enabled us to offer more effective and personalized solutions to our clients. We’re committed to continuing to grow and evolve to remain leaders in the field of digital marketing in Utah.

What do you like and dislike about the city?
When asked what I like most about Utah, I appreciate the natural beauty that surrounds the city. From majestic mountains to desert landscapes, Utah offers stunning natural diversity that invites exploration and outdoor enjoyment.
As for what I like least, as a resident, I’m always looking for improvements in urban infrastructure. Sometimes, traffic congestion can be challenging, especially in certain areas during rush hours. However, overall, my experience living here has been positive, and I greatly enjoy all that Utah has to offer.
