Today we’d like to introduce you to Alex Goyzueta
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Restroyer. officially formed in 2022. Started by Grason Roylance and Alex Goyzueta who have been friends since 5 years old and playing music together since age 12. Adding the killer bass style and friendship of Matt Enright who played in some legendary Salt Lake bands like E.C.O. and The Contingency Plan. Later we added Chris Dammert a long time friend to round out our sound. Chris been co-leading a band called Pirates of the Promised Land.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
So far it has been great very smooth. We have taken our time writing and recording our record and were lucky enough to be discovered and partner with a great record label called People of Punk Rock Records. Our record was released June 20th, 2024
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Restroyer. is a four-piece punk rock band from Salt Lake City, UT on People Of Punk Rock Records. Our debut self-titled album was released June 20th on all digital platforms.
Restroyer.’s sound is a blend of many styles of punk rock to make for a unique sound from track to track but still having a solid cohesive sound.
Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
That Grason (Vocals/Guitar) and Alex (Drums) have been friends since kindergarten.
