Life & Work with Utah World Fashion Week of Salt Lake City

Today we’d like to introduce you to Utah World Fashion Week

Hi Utah World, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Utah World Fashion Week is an international fashion event held in Utah, highlighting the talent of emerging and established designers. The platform has sought to promote creativity in the fashion industry, becoming a platform for exhibition and networking.

Behind its success is a team led by three women: Carolina De Rei as General Producer, Stefany De Rei as General Manager and Nahomi Rei as Image and Model and HMUA Management.

These women have worked together with their family and work team to consolidate the event as a benchmark in the world of fashion, combining their passion, innovative vision and commitment to excellence in each edition.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
UWFW has been planned for over a year so we had the opportunity to create several contingency plans, but for the first time doing an entire fashion week in Utah, teamwork is everything.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Carolina de Rei is a fashion designer with over 35 years of experience in the fashion industry, fashion show producer and image consultant.

Nahomi Rei has been a professional model since she was 5 years old, and has participated in beauty pageants, Doral Fashion Week and NY Fashion Week, as well as being the director of Ikaro Academy, a comprehensive professional modeling academy.

Stefany De Rei is a lawyer and professional event planner, and is the general manager of UWFW and in charge of managing the backstage and front of the house at events and fashion shows.

Are there any books, apps, podcasts or blogs that help you do your best?
Currently enchanted with the “Velvet” series
