Today we’d like to introduce you to Daniel Banuelos
Hi Daniel, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Emotions, my story is emotions even if I wanted to I can’t avoid them & that’s how I got to where I’m at today, because I went through every emotion to get to where I want to be.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Not necessarily, but that’s the beauty of it all, the more I go through the more I have to express. I don’t do this for fun. Words were never the struggle…no, instead words were there for the struggle, the struggle was inevitable it’s about how I dealt with it & I chose my words.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Being a local artist from West Jordan means so much to me because nobody really claims the inner city they’re actually from they just sum it up to Salt Lake City, but it’s a lot deeper then that. West Jordan is the 4th biggest city in all of utah so to be able to have a true voice & image to the people of West Jordan makes me proud. I was always told to never forget where you come from.
We love surprises, fun facts and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
All of my faith is in god, although I don’t look the part & I may make plenty of mistakes, god always comes first & I don’t think people take that seriously out of me, I often find people surprised.
