Today we’d like to introduce you to Chanelle Greene
Hi Chanelle, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
For over twelve years, I battled substance abuse and spent four years working in the sex industry through OnlyFans. At twenty-seven, I took the first step toward healing by entering a three-month intensive trauma therapy program in The Keys, Florida. Today, nearly three years sober, I’ve built a thriving recovery coaching business dedicated to helping others heal on all levels—physically, mentally, spiritually, and emotionally. My mission is to inspire individuals in the sex industry who feel unfulfilled to take a leap of faith and leave, as well as to offer hope to those struggling with addiction, showing them that lasting peace and happiness are possible through recovery.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Absolutely not (lol). Breaking generational curses is not for the faint of heart. Everyone in my immediate family struggles with addiction. I am the only who has been able to get and remain completely sober (this even includes caffeine and pharmaceuticals). I endured severe withdrawal symptoms, both physically and emotionally. The emotional weight of confronting my own shame, grief, and anger was one of the hardest battles I’ve ever faced. One of the greatest challenges was learning to love myself. What ultimately transformed me from someone living in self-betrayal to a woman who prioritizes her health was cultivating self-love.
This transformation has required over a year of outpatient therapy, more than a year of participation in Celebrate Recovery (a 12-step support group), hundreds of AA meetings, and intense EMDR sessions that often ended in tears. I’ve also had to make difficult amends with people from my past and stay consistent with self-care practices and coping tools as I learned to navigate life without substances for the first time since I was fifteen. Additionally, I’ve had to figure out what it means to have a healthy romantic relationship, despite never having had proper guidance or examples.
I’m still committed to my healing, attending multiple support groups and weekly AA meetings. Healing is a lifelong journey, and with each trial and tribulation life throws at us, there is always more to learn and opportunities to grow.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Chanelle Greene ?
I offer a diverse range of services through the brand I’ve built over the past 10+ years. Currently, I’m undergoing a significant transformation and rebranding process, reflecting the profound life changes I’ve made—such as quitting OnlyFans and embracing sobriety. As I continue to heal and grow, much of what once resonated with me no longer aligns with the person I am today. That’s why I’m focused on sharing content that reflects my current values and authentic self.
I use social media as a platform to share my story, build my personal brand, and offer my life coaching services. My largest account has over 500k followers (you can find all my social media analytics at chanellegreene.com). My main mission is to inspire healing and positive change in others. What I’m most proud of is my ability to be vulnerable and show up authentically, both in my brand and in real life.
In addition to attracting clients, I also engage in a lot of marketing work for other businesses and brands through user-generated content (UGC). Brands hire me to create digital advertisements for their websites and social media platforms without requiring me to post on my own accounts. I also monetize my following by promoting natural products I genuinely love, offering discount codes that allow me to earn a profit from each sale.
Looking ahead, I’m excited to launch a podcast with my boyfriend, who is a cancer survivor. We plan to share our personal stories and invite other inspiring individuals to spread hope and light. We’ll likely name it *The Light on the Hill*.
I have many exciting projects in the works, and I look forward to using the lessons I’ve learned from my own recovery to help others. My goal is to show people that change is possible, and if they’re feeling stuck or hopeless, they should not hesitate to reach out for support. I offer a safe, empathetic space for every one of my clients, with deep compassion for those who are struggling with addiction or other painful experiences.
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
For most of my life, I chased “success” in all the external forms—money, appearances, popularity—believing that once I achieved those things, I’d be happy. But after reaching those milestones, I realized that success based on external validation was hollow. None of those things brought the fulfillment I was seeking.
Today, my idea of success looks entirely different. It’s about allowing myself to be seen as I truly am, setting boundaries by saying no to people and things that no longer serve me, waking up excited for the day ahead, being able to regulate my nervous system, and feeling at peace. It’s about surrounding myself with people who make me feel loved and appreciated, helping others, and making real progress on my healing journey.
These are the things that define my success now. Money and appearances may come and go, but cultivating values that bring inner peace and happiness is what truly lasts. Don’t let the world define success for you—take charge and define it for yourself.
