Hi Wayne, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I developed my passion for custom paint at the age of 7, restoring vintage cars with my grandfather in his garage. This later grew into a career, as I painted cars and custom signs while racing local pro motocross. This brought my business to life with my experience in custom art as well as my hobby, I am able to create unique eye catching helmets and other custom paint.
Frosted Paint Co. started spring of 2020 in a 10×10 storage unit, it quickly grew into what it is today – bringing professional quality custom painted designs while striving to bring customers ideas to life.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Custom paint is a luxury item, therefore, the tough times in the economy and the rising cost of materials can have a large impact on our business flow.
With 2023 being our best year, we came into 2024 ready to work hard. However, due to inflation, it started off slower than we were hoping.
We are making our way back to where we want to be for the remainder of this year and into 2025 with determination and perseverance to keep our pricing equitable.

Although I apply custom paint jobs to almost anything, custom motocross helmets will always be my passion. Through this I’ve been able to work with some of the top athletes of the sport and had the opportunity to meet many heros I’ve looked up to since I was a child.
