We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
A lot of Mindset shifts and ridding myself of old ideas has been a big challenge. As well as staying motivated and positive when things don’t seem to be working. I’m putting in work every day to connect with business owners who want to elevate their online presence and explaining to them how implementing video with their online presence is the best way to be seen and get people to know who they are, trust them as well as like them. People want to buy from people they know, trust and like. Some people just think the product sells itself. Which it can and does sometimes.

Another struggle is building this video business by myself. I’m doing everything, outreach, marketing, retaining clients and serving them, producing the videos, shooting and sometimes editing the videos myself. Having a partner that can take some of that off my shoulders would be very beneficial. I have yet to find someone with the same drive and passion for helping business’ with the power of video as of yet. If you are reading this, reach out, let’s go to the moon together.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
With everybody becoming a “filmmaker” and videographer nowadays, just using their iphone, I have to stand out from the regular joe who can produce a pretty image. That part is easy and simple to learn. Where I stand out is I take the time to understand the brand, the idea and the goals of the business. I use that info to craft a “catered to you” content strategy to achieve those goals. I break it down for the client so it’s as simple as possible. Sometimes we will take care of the posting and scheduling of the content, however our main focus and specialty is creating a video based strategy to make an authentic connection between the brand and customer to boost sales.

Video’s and stories with purpose is our specialty.

In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
Video is here to stay. As long as there is the internet and social media, video is going to be the main catalyst for customer acquisition and getting your business in front of millions of eyes. Photo’s have a place in this as well. For instance, carousel posts on Instagram are quite the hit, espeicially if you have, or pay, other influencers to repost a slide from the carousel post a day. (There’s a free golden nugget for you).

Video will be implemented in every aspect of business. Client/employee acquisition and retention. Training/Educating. Internal communications, etc.

Video is king in the attention economy and the attention flows to well crafted videos that either entertain or educate.
