Daily Inspiration: Meet Andrey Isakin

Today we’d like to introduce you to Andrey Isakin

Hi Andrey, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My journey has always been about exploring adventure in all its forms. I was first drawn to the thrill and creativity of freestyle snowboarding, which quickly evolved into an exploration of storytelling through video and visual art. Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to collaborate with incredible brands and artists globally, from directing music videos to producing immersive media installations like fulldome exhibitions.

For the past five years, I’ve also had the privilege of traveling through holy places in India with my spiritual teacher, capturing the depth and beauty of these journeys on film. This experience has brought a new layer of energy and insight that I’m excited to channel into future projects.

Now, here in Utah, I feel like I’m in the perfect place to keep expanding. The exhilarating powder runs and the state’s quiet, spiritual beauty are exactly the inspiration I’m looking for.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Not at all—every path worth taking has its share of obstacles, and mine has been no exception. When I transitioned from marketing to video art, it took a lot of courage to leave a stable path for one that was much more uncertain and creatively demanding. Diving into a world where you’re constantly judged on your ability to capture something unique, meant developing a thick skin and a willingness to embrace both criticism and setbacks.

Working on projects with big brands and in diverse locations brought a variety of challenges—from navigating new technologies, to managing international teams across time zones and cultural boundaries. These experiences have taught me resilience and adaptability—qualities that now shape my creative process. Each challenge, whether it was technical, creative, or personal, has pushed me to be more innovative and grounded in my work.
Looking back, I realize these struggles have been as valuable as any success, adding layers to my approach as an artist.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
My work is all about capturing and crafting visual stories that resonate on multiple levels. I specialize in video production, immersive media installations, and photography, and I’ve had the chance to work with iconic brands like Nike, Adidas Originals, Leica, and Chanel, as well as collaborating with amazing personalities from sports and entertainment. I’ve mastered the art of blending vision with technical precision—whether it’s a music video, a high-energy snowboarding clip, or a cinematic documentary.

One of my proudest achievements was developing fulldome immersive media projects that let audiences feel like they’re stepping inside a story. It was a fascinating challenge, both creatively and technologically. But I’m most proud of my next project, which represents the culmination of my experience and passion.

My approach as both an artist and a storyteller sets me apart. I strive to reveal an inner rhythm, something like ‘frozen music,’ in every frame. I believe true art resonates where creativity and authenticity meet, and this philosophy guides my work, allowing me to create visuals that feel as real as they are memorable.

What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
The most important quality behind my success is curiosity. This constant drive to explore, learn, and push boundaries has guided me from one form of storytelling to the next. It keeps my work evolving and helps me see each project as a new adventure, a chance to capture something fresh and genuine.

Loyalty to a chosen path is what keeps me on this amazing journey of dreams coming true.
