Today we’d like to introduce you to IDANIA HANSGEN.
Hi IDANIA, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I was born in Peru.
in 2013 my Yoga journey began.
I had a deep inner calling to heal and to reconnect with the spirit.
A sacred sound became my medicine. Yoga became my passion, as I became more skilled each breath, each ceremony, and the heartbeat of my drums helped me remember who I am-a bridge between earth and spirit, here to share healing, compassion, and a wakening through movement, sound and love.
My heart purpose is to keep building conscious yoga community- a sacred space where we can breathe, heal, and rise together.
My desire to learn more involved kundalini, breathwork, Yoga Nidra and sound bath. As my knowledge and skills increased my Yoga desires evolved to include corporate events, private events and retreats.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
This path hasn’t been easy – it has been an initiation. I have faced fear, loss, and deep transformation. My use of the English language was very limited and was an obstacle I had to overcome; this is still a challenge. Those struggles became my initiation, they shaped my strength, deepened my compassion and opened my heart to serve others with authenticity. The obstacles were not in the way; they were the way.
Every challenge became medicine, deepening my empathy for others inspiring me to create a community rooted in love, unity, and healing.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My employer is IHC- American Fork Hospital, I am a pharmacy technician.
