Check Out Gracie Findley’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Gracie Findley.

Hi Gracie, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I started as a princess around 4 years ago right around the time I was graduating high school: For the first couple of months I would only do meet and greets or photo ops because I wasn’t confident enough in my singing abilities. I was able to get over my shyness and started doing parties and absolutely loved it. I continued being a princess all the way up until I left on my mission, and after I got home 18 months later I jumped right back into parties (literally—I did one the week after I returned home). I was then offered the position of manager in August and have been helping run and manage performers and parties ever since!

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
A challenge that I’ve had as a performer is being flexible enough to able to adapt to the needs of the party. Even though you have a general performance flow that you follow, you want to prioritize the wants and needs of the child that you are celebrating or what life lessons you share in your few moments with someone during meet and greets. There is something truly wonderful about being able to leave an impact on someone that you know looks up to you.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Started as an employee and now am manager.

What matters most to you?
What matters most to me is the way the children experience us: how they see us, how they feel around us, and whether they feel like they’ve had a magical and special experience being celebrated.
