Exploring Life & Business with Dallas Bailey of 700 Block Storage

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dallas Bailey.

Hi Dallas, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Started in real estate in 2012 helping my dad list rentals on KSL.com
Joined the army shortly after.
Came back home and
Went to school at USU for a degree in business.
Ended up building a home during Covid and a self storage facility in salt lake. I decided it was time to get my real estate license.
Storage was complete December of 2022.
I then offer clients services covered by me to help them with the stress and logistics of real estate.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Struggles are understanding the full school of real estate. From easements to development to explaining to a first time homebuyer how to process works.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
We are ranked best of Utah “self storage” 2 years running. We have coordinated with commercial and residential contractors to help clients in storage along with moving companies.

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
I was a shy child, but a hard worker. I felt high school to be a waste of time. I work from age 17-20 as a mover and then 22-25 as a mover as well.
Moving helped me develop how to work hard and smart.
Personally evolved the more trails I took on.
