Today we’d like to introduce you to Chaz and Kylie Huntsman.
Hi Chaz and Kylie, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
We have always loved being outdoors, hiking, and exploring! In fact, it is something that helped kick our relationship off when we first met! We met in the summer of 2016 and one of the first things we did together was go on a hike. On this very hike, we actually got stalked by a mountain lion. Luckily nobody got hurt, but it was one of the scariest moments of our lives! We continued to enjoy hiking and getting outside but in 2020 our love for adventure grew a bit.
In 2020 when the pandemic broke out, we decided there had to be more for us to do to enjoy life despite life not being normal. One day Chaz had an awesome idea to explore unique places in Utah. He spent hours searching things online and created a map of fun things we could do all around the state. We originally wanted to create an Instagram page to remember the places we went to, but we had the thought that it would be fun to share with other people. That way they could explore and enjoy the state as much as we do! One adventure led to another and we love what we do!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The biggest challenge has probably been that we both work and go to school. When the pandemic broke out, life slowed down a little, but as it’s gotten busier, we’ve really tried to make exploring a priority because it’s what we love!
We also realized that when the pandemic first started, there were so many people hiking in the valley that we had to go farther to escape the crowds.
Directions to these unique places aren’t always super clear, so another challenge we’ve run into is finding the actual locations. But it’s all part of the adventure, right?

Chaz is a mechanic in the recreational industry. This provides more enthusiasm for loving the outdoors so much!
Kylie works at a holistic medical office. She works at the front desk and also assists patients with their therapies. She has learned a lot about how nature can help with the healing process from personal experience. She is a firm believer that being outdoors can be so good for your health!
We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you.
We started our Instagram page while we were dating and got married in May of 2021. It has been amazing to have our love for adventure be a common interest for both of us and hope it continues throughout the years.
We feel so blessed to be able to enjoy what we do! We are blessed to be able to experience so much and are lucky to live in such an awesome state!
