Today we’d like to introduce you to Courtney Robertson.
Hi Courtney, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My story began in childhood, marked by persistent gut issues that affected not only my physical health but also my mental and emotional well-being. As I grew older, I was driven by a deep belief that our bodies are inherently capable of healing themselves. This belief led me on a journey of self-discovery and healing. I found that nutrition and energy medicine became key catalysts in my recovery. Along the way, I embraced the power of positive affirmations, confronted and healed from childhood trauma, and began to truly listen to what my gut was telling me—both literally and intuitively.
As I entered my twenties, more health challenges began to surface—one of the most significant being my diagnosis of Hashimoto’s disease, an autoimmune condition that affects the thyroid gland. The news was devastating. After dedicating over a decade to my health, it felt like a major setback. But instead of giving up, I doubled down. I listened even more closely to my body, sought out new support, devoured holistic and medical literature and books, fine-tuned my nutrition, and received consistent energy medicine therapy sessions through the BodyTalk System.
Just five months after my diagnosis, I had follow-up blood work, and the results came back normal. I was shocked. That moment reaffirmed what I had always believed: the mind and body are powerful beyond measure, especially when supported intentionally.
In 2015, I launched my business, Bring Healthy Back, with a mission to help others do exactly that—bring their healthy back, together. My heart is to support clients and my online community in feeling seen, safe, supported, and loved through their healing journeys. And yes, the name is a nod to Justin Timberlake’s “SexyBack.” I told myself long ago that if I ever started a health business, I’d call it that—because healing can (and should) be fun, even in the midst of the hard.
Now, a decade later, I run a thriving business that leaves me feeling nourished and deeply fulfilled. Time and time again, I’ve noticed that after a full day of holding space and facilitating healing for my clients, I don’t feel drained—I feel energized, inspired, and full of love. That’s how I know this is my calling. This is my life’s purpose. My clients experience real, lasting transformation. They rediscover hope, reconnect with their bodies, and step into their own healing power. It’s the most rewarding work I could ever imagine, and I feel incredibly blessed to walk this path.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road hasn’t always been smooth. Balancing my own healing, continuing my education, and running a business has been a lot to carry at times. I studied Community Health at Utah Valley University in Orem, graduating in 2016. From there, I dove deeper into the therapies I now offer—studying nutrition and, later, returning to school in 2019 to become a licensed massage therapist.
I’ve remained in remission from my autoimmune disease, but that takes intentional, daily focus and commitment. Healing, I’ve learned, is a lifestyle—not a one-time event.
And then there’s the business side. That part has probably been the bumpiest. I didn’t come into this world naturally wired with a business mindset, so navigating entrepreneurship has been its own learning curve. But after nearly a decade, I’ve grown more skilled, more confident, and more at home in my role—not just as a healer, but as a business owner.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I offer a variety of holistic health modalities because true healing involves the whole person—emotional, physical, mental, spiritual, generational, and environmental.
I’m certified and/or licensed in a range of therapies, including BodyTalk, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Cranial Sacral Therapy, Therapeutic Massage, Pre/Postnatal Massage, and Fascia Blasting. I am also a birth Doula and love it.
What I’m most proud of isn’t a technique—it’s my ability to show up fully and hold space for my clients to heal. I always say: I’m not the healer—they are. My role is to observe, facilitate, and support. I simply help guide them back to the innate wisdom of their own bodies.
What sets me apart from other holistic practitioners? First of all—no one else is me, and that’s my superpower. 🙂 I bring a unique combination of intuition, deep listening, and finely tuned skill to every session. Many clients come to me saying, “I’m not sure what I need, but I know I need to see you.” And I tell them, “No worries—you’ll get the Courtney Special.” That means I intuitively blend all my modalities to meet their needs in that moment. No two sessions are ever the same, because no two people are.
