LaMia Beauty Lounge was created by LaTonya and Damia — two passionate stylists who started as client and stylist and ended up business partners. What began as a dream quickly became reality when LaTonya found a space and asked me (Damia) to join her, and she said yes without hesitation. Together, they built a salon where people can feel beautiful, confident, and cared for. It hasn’t been easy finding a team with their same drive, but through hard work and faith, LaMia Beauty Lounge is now thriving — fully booked, full of love, and helping women and children embrace their beauty from the inside out.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Finding stylist to work because we get so busy and have ti turn clients away sometimes.

LaTonya specializes in all things natural hair and I specialize in extensions. We really are well rounded stylist, that provides every service. We do it all.
No matter what our clients want to make them look and feel good, we’re here to educate and help the look come to life.
Also we try to help them realize it’s not harder than you think.
We teach and that’s what sets us apart. Natural hair is our specialty.
