Hi Dania, so excited to have you on the platform. So, before we get into questions about your work life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today.
I’m Dania and I love to do events! I have many years doing different kinds of things, such as parties, weddings, birthdays, and more. Here in Utah, I decided to do this for real, helping others to make their special day even more amazing! So, I created Tiny Sweets Desserts, a small business (so far) who does desserts tables and candy buffet. And as the name says the portions are “Tiny” to allow you to have the perfect size bite, so you can enjoy more than one mini dessert! The answer from my clients has been amazing! They love the flavors of the desserts and also, they love the decoration on the tables. Everyone in the event is asking who is behind all of this! And that fills my heart with happiness. If my client and their guests are happy, so am I even more!! because I could do something for them. We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
When you start any kind of business you have to be recognized for your audience. I think that is one of my challenges. But if someone tries your product, then, he or she can recommend you, and then, you can earn more clients. Also, you have to be constant, patient, and love what you do, anything in life is about believing in yourself. And I do, I know I can do this type of business.

I have done many things through my professional lifetime. Because I like to be a versatile person, I have a bachelor degree in International Business and a graduate diploma in Human Resources Mgmt. I have been working in sales, collections, and marketing, as well as imports and exports. When I came here, I decided to study Medial Assistant, which I did, and I was working as a volunteer as a Surgical Dental Assistant. I learned about regulations and then I decided to create my own company. I think I have the tools needed to do anything
Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
You need to sacrifice yourself to make your dreams true. That means, it takes time to become successful. You will go to bed late at night, wake up early in the morning to take advantage of the hours that you have per day.
