Check Out Eleonora Nedobukh’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Eleonora Nedobukh.

Hi Eleonora, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I was born in Russia. I moved to the USA in 2005. I live in the US for 15 years now, nine years in Utah. I started pole in 2014 and I fell in love with it since my first class. Since then it has been a big part of my life. Taking pole dance classes helped me through some rough times. Pole dance studio is my happy place.

I’m so grateful for it and all the incredible people I’ve met. Now, I teach pole dance classes at La Bombe pole fitness and I perform occasionally. Along my journey, I got to participate in a few competitions. That’s when I made my outfits.

Last year, in one of Somer’s classes, I wore my shorts and Somer said that I should start to sell. I asked her to bring me a pair of her favorite shorts, so I can make the pattern. I started to make more shorts and sell them on Instagram and to my students and fellow instructors. I’m hand-draw all my patterns. I’m sewing everything myself in my apartment.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I got to the point where I needed help to sew. Because I have a full-time job and I teach twice a week, I had to sew my orders late at night and early morning. I started to search for a local production company in Utah.

Through that company, I’ve met people who are helping me with the website and production process. Fabric search was taking a long time, once I found the perfect one, print and delivery would take a long time due to COVID. In general, getting all the supplies was a struggle.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m making patterns and sewing shorts and custom pole dance outfits. I’m specializing in shorts, but I have some customers that love to have a matching set, so short and sports bra. Also, I’m getting together styles for men’s pole dance shorts.

I’m most proud that all my customers are enjoying wearing my shorts, I’m making unique patterns and I’m choosing unique prints. All shorts that have been made are tested by me or other pole dancers. My first production will be sewn in Utah, so I will have an access to the production site to ensure the quality.

Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
Somer Ahonen a good friend and my pole dance instructor. Always so inspiring and supportive. She is a professional photographer, she is helping me with pictures for the website. Kelley Mountford a good friend, pole dance studio owner, already pre-ordered shorts from my first production. Anya Pautova, designer and production manager.

My sister, Elena Nedobukh my first investor and my support. My friends and family, students, and pole instructors, all play the big role in this process.
