Today we’d like to introduce you to Freddy Centeno

Hi Freddy, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Freddy Centeno, better known by his stage name “DJ MARKANO”. Born in Caracas, Venezuela, he currently resides in Salt Lake City, Utah. Markano has a life motto “I came to the world and arrived so as not to lose” a motto that he applies every day, and it has helped him meet his goals, grow and improveFrom an early age I began to have a passion for music, part of my adolescence I began to like the world of being a DJ and music producer,Consistency and discipline have been the fundamental pieces in reaching the level where I am today, it has not been an easy path but we are achieving it

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The roads always have their obstacles, they are tests that they put you to see how you overcome them, if the road was easy we would all reach success, but you have to make sacrifices to reach the goal, the most difficult thing was leaving my country to achieve a goal that I am doing today

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a DJ producer, I have been in this world for 4 years now, I am known for the performance I do when it comes to mixing music, the energy I give and the vibe that people feel when they see me play, I am proud of everything I have achieved, my style differentiates me from others.

Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
I love Utah, I love this city, its mountains, landscapes, everything, really.
