Today we’d like to introduce you to Haley Thomas.

Hi Haley, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I have always been an artist. It was having children that finally directed my artistic passions toward photography.

I just love capturing the beauty of everyday moments and found that I have a knack for it too. I began learning as much as I could, practicing every day. Now, I get to work with couples and families every week, capturing moments for them to cherish for years to come!

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Photography has come so naturally to me, but of course, like any business, I had learning curves and bumps in the road as I navigated the legal and financial parts of operating a business. I have learned a lot in the last year and I feel confident with where I am now!

I do highly recommend that all business owners outsource some tasks from the beginning, I wish I had sought out help a lot sooner than I did! Now, all of my energy can be directed right into the heart of photography work!

I just love people, and photographing people with their people brings me so much joy.

People are what matter most in life, and getting to serve others by capturing the special moments they share is the greatest feeling in the world. I specialize in portrait scenarios that include 2+ people: Weddings, Engagement Photos, Groom & Bridals, Family Photos, Extended Families, Lifestyle Newborn Family Sessions.

What sets me apart? I capture a balance of candid and posed photographs, all with painless prompts and lots of laughing, and edit in a very timeless true-to-life style.

What makes you happy?
Laughter. Laughing despite the difficulties of life.

The ups and downs that come, are full of depth and emotion. I love authenticity and realism. Life is beautiful as it truly is, without having to romanticize or pretend that things are perfect. Imperfection is beautiful. People are important. Capturing the true love shared between people is my jam!
