Today we’d like to introduce you to Jasmine Gordon.
Hi Jasmine, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
We are in our 10th year of business at Nomad Soul. It all started with us sisters and our mom having 2 important purposes, 1 being that we knew that Utah needed a place to be able to source unique furniture and home decor. and the second being, we knew we could be the ones to do it!
Family is a huge for us and we know in this day and age, that is makes a big difference when moms can work too, so we wanted to create careers opportunity for ourselves and others to be able to be moms, and be able to work without being away from our kids.
Getting into interior design was a no brainer as us girls were in ways apprenticed through our childhood into the home industry with our mom Julie being an established interior designer and our dad being a custom home builder.
We believe every space can be aligned to the frequency of home.
This belief is part of our culture. Julie, our founder and matriarch, began Nomad Soul with the same spirit of family and hospitality that defined generations before her. Raised to see beauty as a birthright, her daughters carry that vision forward today. But beauty doesn’t need to be inherited. It belongs to every family, and every home can hold it. Our frequency architecture philosophy carries this truth forward. We design to help women trust their own beauty, making homes that resonate with harmonious joy and attach to your soul. Caring for family comes first, and we work hard to help our customers and employees do the same.
Travel adds another layer of inspiration. Textures, colors and stories gathered from around the world weave eclectic beauty into intimate spaces made to be lived in. This is why our retail showrooms feel like destinations, our furnishings feel timeless, and our design, decorating and staging services feel transformative. Each expression of our work carries intention, blending aesthetic magic with a nurturing spirit that reflects who we are as women and as creators-guides and caretakers as much as designers-so we can turn houses into homes and rooms into havens.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There are always learning curves with starting a business, and we have been thankful for all of them as its shaped what our business is today!
Not only have we grown in our skillset as business owners but we have really defined our why, and found what sets us apart from other design firms and furniture stores. We exist to help families and individuals seek out beauty, be inspired, and create the healing frequency of home.

Nomad Soul is a multi-gen, woman-owned interior design and retail firm that helps families, builders, owners, and sellers create inviting and livable spaces.
As frequency architects, we blend energy and flow with furnishings and style. We shape environments to unlock inviting vibes so families feel safe, guests feel inspired and buyers feel they’ve arrived. We guide clients to embrace beauty they can truly live in, creating spaces that belong instantly and last gracefully.

Some of our biggest supporters are our dad, and our husbands, and our brother. It really takes the whole family to pull off what we do.
