Check Out Jillian Vogtli’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jillian Vogtli.

Hi Jillian, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I am two time Olympian in the sport of Freestyle Mogul skiing who spent 13 years on the US Ski Team. I was also a member of the US Cycling Team. Since retirement, I have been working with people to help them to discover where they are holding themselves back and to help them step into their place. of becoming.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There are many layers to this question. The short of it is, no. Nothing about my journey was easy but for my love of the sport, passion for life, nature and seeing people stand in their fullness of self.

I was raised in WNY in a blue collar hardworking family. I had a dream and my parents supported me where they could and my town (all hardworking folks and many farmers) gathered together and supported me as I went for my dream. I took out loans and worked three jobs to pay them off when needed.

Physically, I have broken my hand, fingers, foot, sternum (first backflip on snow where I landed on my head and my chin broke my sternum), 14 knee surgeries (with the most recent be a knee replacement this past May).

Mentally and emotionally, that was a journey that consisted of grit, determination, and get back up.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
The work I do with others—whether on the slopes, one-on-one coaching, in speaking engagements or leading growth workshops—stems from a culmination of my skills as an Olympic Athlete, fitness and wellness coach, and shamanic practitioner. My aim in everything I do is to help people find and live their inner truth. My role is to help them remember their true selves, release limiting patterns and old ways of being, and step into their highest and best selves, while remaining a student of life. I have a holistic view of fitness, health and overall wellbeing (healing). While my coaching style works with the conscious mind, much of the healing work I offer helps identify and easily release outdated patterns, beliefs, and imbalances that ripple throughout our lives by working with the subconscious mind to establish new life skills. In turn, real change happens: standing in our truth, power, and passions.

To achieve overall wellness, it is essential to balance the body, soul and mind. If one is weak there is not balance and without balance, one cannot dream of reaching their potential

Soul work involves honoring where we are while recognizing that our current state is no longer serving us. That is the starting point where deep healing begins. Using Shamanic techniques the focus is to guide the individual to dream and manifest their highest self by working with original wounds and imprints.
This is deep, honest and transformational work.

My passion lies in walking along side my clients, helping them honor their original story and wounds, and then finding their unrealized selves so they can write a beautiful, new story. – Jillian

How do you think about happiness?
What makes me happy in my work is seeing people stand a little taller, smile a little bigger and re-remember who they truly are without all the limiting stories and beliefs. Who they were as a child before life set in and told them who they :”should”be.

In my personal life, time with my teenage son brings me joy (and huge personal growth), time in nature on my skis or bikes, and travel.
