Today we’d like to introduce you to Kassandra Pelaez Trujillo.
Hi Kassandra, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
First of all, I would like to thank you for the space that you give me to be able to share my anecdotes. I was born in Lima Peru and I currently reside in the United States, I got married in September 2019 and I currently have a 2 and a half-year-old son. My family and I arrived in Utah 2 months ago and we were delighted with this beautiful city, before being Mom always idealized me to make a personal blog and share my experiences and day-to-day but for reasons of optimism, I never encouraged myself.
Until I arrived in this beautiful country and I realized that the journey here was a blessing from God. I was encouraged to create the Peruvian mom blog in the USA, where beyond sharing cooking recipes, a little humor, maternity issues and married life, I also talk about spiritual experiences that make me the person I am now. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and seeing me join this church was a great decision that I made, because it brought consequences for me positive to my life and that of my family.
This is how I started on this path of sharing my day-to-day and I hope you can enjoy my content.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The truth is that it was not calm at first, there were people who made fun of this new phase of my life and I had to deal with it. I had my sights fixed on my goals and priorities and that pushed me to keep going. I lost my fear of What will they say and I began to bet on myself and my work.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I love creating content and I actually do a little of everything, from married life, maternity tips, outfits. I am proud of the step I took when I started creating content, I try to demonstrate the real things of each facet and that makes me different from other creators. So if you are thinking of wanting to create content or create your brand, etc. Nobody can do it more than you have the strength to fight for your dreams.
Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
I was inspired by different accounts like barbaris and what works for me is not to do the same thing as them but different things. For example, when I saw the content of barbaris I had the same ideas to make my content but I realized that they had them so I started to create in a different way that has the same objective but a different projection.
