Today we’d like to introduce you to Kenzie Lewis.
Hi Kenzie, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers.
I started in a small town in southern Indiana with many aspirations to do as much as I could. I worked all the time and made sure I was on top of things to get to where I am today.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has been a very rough road, with my best friend passing away and my mother going to prison, my family and I had to fend for ourselves along the way.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I specialize in modeling and murals. I am mainly known for modeling but I love to bring fashion into my mural creations.
I am most proud of my first mural for my father’s business, he trusted me to create something great and it taught me how to be patient with myself. What sets my creations apart is that they freshly blend art and fashion and not just on the runway.
Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
What makes me happy is the little things and events in my daily life such as going to get a muffin from a local coffee shop or going to a new city for a day or two.
I love creating new experiences and fueling my happiness through those experiences and connections.
