Hi Liliana, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My name is Liliana Soto, founder of Happy Hour Party Rentals. My husband and I are parents to fraternal twins who are our world! Being Latino, celebrations have always been part of our lives. It wasn’t until we had kids that we noticed there was a big opportunity to incorporate kid activities to keep them entertained during the various gatherings.
We love planning parties and having fun doing it. We are so excited to share our customizable party rentals with everyone and make those moments extra special.
Our mission at Happy Hour Party Rentals is to bring everyone together and enjoy a happy hour, no matter the age!
Today, we offer different luxury soft playground equipment and bounce castles around Salt Lake City for your kids to enjoy on any occasion – from their 1st birthday party to a fun playdate with friends, we have you covered.
We’re a small mom and pop business with big aspirations, and can’t wait to bring you a happy hour.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The reality is, starting your own business is not simple. Luckily, the party rental community has welcomed us with open arms and they’ve been very supportive with resources, best practices and tips.
The biggest challenge has been finding the balance between following your passion, working full time, and being a mom of two toddlers. Yes, days can be very busy and hectic. However, I couldn’t do it alone. I have the support of my husband and family, who are always willing to help with any task, no matter how big or small.
It’s been a great learning experience and I hope this small venture teaches my children a great work ethic and to pursue their passions.

We (Happy Hour Party Rentals) provide luxury soft playground equipment and bounce castle packages around Salt Lake City for your kids to enjoy on any occasion. And we understand that we’re not the first or last business to offer this type of service. However, there are three main values that make up our business DNA:

What makes you happy?
As cliche as it sounds, I’m the most happy when I’m creating memories with my family and loved ones. And at its core, that is what motivated me to start Happy Hour Party Rentals — to help others create memories that they’ll remember forever.
