Hi Lindsay, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I created The Little Milk Bar in 2018 at my kitchen table after a woman came up to me at a wedding while I was feeding my son and said, ‘do you really think you should be doing that here? Maybe you should go to the bathroom and do that’.
I never want ANY mother to feel like she has to feed her baby in a dirty bathroom stall. Every mother should know her rights. Every mother should know she’s got a gang of mamas standing right behind her.
Use your voice even if it shakes… we have your back!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Owning a small business is always a rocky road, but I have learned so much from it. There are always hiccups that can occur, but you have to keep focusing on the big picture and long term growth everyday in order to make things happen.
I am a master Manifestor – if I put my mind to something consistently, I know it will come to be. This is what I have done with my goals at The Little Milk Bar and it helps keep me focused when the struggles do come along.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I specialize in marketing, graphic design and making my brand stand apart from other competitors. I am the most proud of developing a business that helps empower women, to use their voice and to know their rights. The Little Milk Bar is more then just a brand, but a community where women can come and feel heard and seen during their breastfeeding journey.
