Hi Melissa, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.

I have always been inspired by the journey of fashion and style from both the past and present. Kameo Vintage originated with a love of story-selling, I am able to share the journey of each recycled garment both collected and sold.
I have innovated a modern-luxury approach to sourcing – specializing in closet archiving and personal styling.
I like to educate my supporters on the power of sustainability by blurring the lines of style ensuring my clients are socially aware of the impact that excess has on the environment.
The Kameo Vintage mission is to celebrate the beauty of circular fashion by offering a modern luxury experience to circular fashion.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Like most unique journeys mine has been less than smooth. When i started my business, no one ever told me how lonely it is to be an entrepreneur. I have trouble finding independent contractors who share the same work ethic as me. That alone is a struggle. In addition, another struggle is always knowing when the right time to pivot is. I tell myself – if I am getting bored then my audience is getting bored, so I have to figure out a solution to ensure that my brand stays innovative.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am known as a Style Curator. I have developed innovative ways to edit women’s closets. I take pride in being able to find homes for forgotten garments from the past. To be able to re-style a garment, it brings joy to both the original/new owner. When I edit one’s closet, I archive their pieces and support them in finding style within their own wardrobe. What sets me apart from others is that I have developed a modern luxury approach to circular fashion.
