Today we’d like to introduce you to Riker Chance
Hi Riker, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I grew up in Florida photographing and filming anything I could. real estate, underwater, surfing, alligators, dolphins etc. Surfing took me to some beautiful countries in south and Central America. I also had a camera in hand, and enjoy capturing moments. As my portfolio grew, so did my opportunities. I now had a strong portfolio to launch on Instagram, so I shared my images there, and started working with 15+ product companies at any given time. These companies needed a wide variety of content for their social channels, and marketing. This was my introduction to product based photography and videography.
Some of these companies included ENO hammocks, SKB Cases, Stanley thermoses, freestyle watches, rumpl, Thursday boots, Kelty, fitts, nuun, sog, braven, qalo, the list goes on. Long story short, I noticed that Utah doesn’t have a good product photography studio that specializes in Amazon quality content. Amazons parameters are unique, and ever changing, so it can hard to qualify a business to tackle such product photos and videos with confidence. I believe I have created that company.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I believe in organic. growth, so this company was founded on a slow and steady beginning. The biggest obstacle is keeping up with Amazons guidelines and securing a worthy studio.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Wasatch Studio specializes in photography, videography and Infographic design. We create content for anyone, but we really like to work on Amazon based projects. We like to approach a project with in depth marketing research that helps paints a clear picture to our clients and creates a fast turn around. My team genuinely enjoys what they do and we do our best to keep a relaxed environment.
