Check Out Samantha Adams’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Samantha Adams.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Eldredge Manor has been a wedding venue for over 100 years. It was built in 1896 by the James Eldredge family and has served hundreds of families as a historic and beautiful venue since 1915. We took over Eldredge in August of 2020, and our main mission was to preserve the immaculate history of the building but be able to expand and bring it to more families and people. We specialize in creating a unique and intimate event in a space that not many get to see!

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I think we would be lying if we said any road, we traveled in business was smooth. Taking over an entire venue and dealing with the growing pains of expanding and training teams, initiating new processes, and keeping brides and grooms happy (the most important thing!) comes with its challenges. But every bump or struggle in the path we have traveled with Eldredge has been absolutely worth it. Being involved in such a unique space and helping maintain its legacy has been so impactful for our team. Every growing pain always gives us a better view.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I actually own a Marketing agency that Eldredge Manor contracts! I spent the beginning part of my career in the startup advertising world. After falling in love with Influencer Marketing and social strategy, I moved to the corporate landscape and managed the Brand and Influence branch for a multibillion-dollar brand. In the summer of 2020, I started my own Agency, SNFLWR Agencies, that specializes in streamlining social platforms for clients and integrating effective marketing strategies like influencer collabs, paid advertising, and brand overhauls. I think the thing I’m most proud of is helping businesses, small to corporate, establish who they want to be online. We work with so many unique brands and companies, and it is a genuine pleasure to be able to connect brands with influencers, streamline social media feeds so they not only represent the brand, but promote it and built it up, and more. Every day is different in my line of work, and every day is awesome. SNFLWR’s primary mission is to help you grow. Where you grow, we grow, too.

The crisis has affected us all in different ways. How has it affected you and any important lessons or epiphanies you can share with us?
Oof. We work in the event industry, so we learned to be REALLY flexible. We also learned a valuable lesson in patience and hope that things would get better. But also learning that having a plan A, Plan B, Plan C all the way to Z is always a lifesaver.
