Today we’d like to introduce you to Samuel Estrella.

Hi Samuel, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Like so many others, my journey began during the uncertainty of Covid. I was laid off from my corporate job, and it was a turning point for me. What I had once considered “security” no longer felt secure. I realized that I wanted something different, something that would allow me to build a future on my own terms.

I’ve always loved photography and celebrations, and during that season of change, the idea for Forever After was born. While on unemployment, I began planning, researching, and building my business. In late 2021, I launched with just one photo booth. It wasn’t easy. There were challenges, doubts, and plenty of late nights, but I poured my heart into it.

Today, I’m proud to say Forever After has grown to four photo booths, a 360 Infinity Booth, thrones, premium backdrops including flower walls, and uplighting. What started as a single idea has become a full-service photo booth company.

Our mission is simple: to be the go-to provider for events of all kinds. My ultimate goal is to delight every client with exceptional quality, outstanding customer service, and a truly stress-free experience.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. In the beginning, one of my biggest struggles was simply building awareness of the business. I tried multiple approaches to lead generation, and honestly, it was a lot of trial and error. At first, most of our leads came from paid sources, and while that helped us get started, it wasn’t sustainable long term.

Over time, I kept refining our approach, learning from missteps, and finding what really worked. Today, we’re proud to have a strong sales funnel that consistently brings in leads. Even more rewarding, we receive referrals from past clients, which means we’re delivering the kind of experience people want to share. I’ve also built an incredible peer network with other business owners in the event industry where we can exchange ideas and support one another.

Right now, we’re excited to be exploring partnerships with venues here in Utah, which will allow us to serve even more clients and become a trusted name in the local event community.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Most of my professional career was spent in Accounting, and that experience turned out to be an incredible foundation for entrepreneurship. Understanding finances gave me the confidence to take the leap and start my own business, because I knew how critical it would be to manage the numbers behind the scenes.

Finances can make or break a business, especially in the early years. Having that background allowed me to create realistic budgets, manage cash flow, and make informed decisions as Forever After grew. It’s not the glamorous side of running a photo booth company, but it’s one of the most important and I believe it’s been a key part of our success.

So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
For me, it all comes down to the people I serve. What matters most is capturing those once-in-a-lifetime moments that my clients will treasure forever. Weddings, birthdays, graduations, corporate celebrations, these are milestones that deserve to be remembered in a fun, meaningful way.

Being able to play a small part in helping people hold onto those memories is deeply fulfilling for me. It’s not just about a photo booth. It’s about creating an experience that brings joy, laughter, and connection, while preserving the moments they’ll look back on for years to come.
