Check Out Seattle Zion’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Seattle Zion.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Trance has always been something that has come naturally to me, as a child, I found myself caught up staring into candle flames allowing my eyes to unfocus. I was the kid who would beg for another story at bedtime, it was like the characters were in the room with me and I felt their emotions as if they were my own.

You see, in a relaxed state the mind has a hard time distinguishing between our physical realities and what we have created in our minds, imaginary friends to a child are often just as real. Trance is something innately human, like sleep, sex, and food our body has natural reactions to a trance state, it is as normal as enveloping yourself in your favorite book or tv show.

It is a different state of mind one which we humans experience that promotes our natural creativity. Our ancestors danced around fires and claimed to have existential experiences while watching the smoke waft or the wood logs crack, they were entering a state of trance. You enter this same state multiple times a day while driving perhaps your familiar memorized route to work, or while daydreaming on the job.

Trance is actually a measurable frequency with the invention of the EEG this natural function became measurable by scientists, validating the existence of hypnosis and meditation to the skeptical scientific community. Meditation and hypnosis are both examples of the theta state, the only difference is cultural, one developed in Buddhist monasteries and the other in western psychology.

Human beings have been using trance states long before eastern and western cultures existed, it is a normal function, one we fall into when we are the most relaxed and comfortable. So why does hypnosis have a bad reputation? I would answer that in the west we have a cultural disposition against altered states of consciousness and before the discovery of hypnosis was measurable through EEG it was considered to be a placebo.

I grew up dazzled by the idea of the hypnotic state, and when I learned it was a tool people use to create radical shifts in their lives I set out to try it myself. I would perform hypnosis with my friends in school practicing I was able to help one quit smoking and the other one we just played practicing count downs and dangling watches. Now I don’t need a fancy watch, hypnosis is like a language once you learn to speak it well enough you can’t really unlearn it, it happens naturally, and when I work with people it assists them in achieving the results they want to see.

I was attracted to hypnosis like a fish was to water, it was like a current that swept me up and brought me into a deeper understanding of myself. I call it the hypnotic journey, and it is not for the weak-willed, the unimaginative, or the faint of heart. The brave-hearted men and women who embark on this journey make up some of the most successful people in the world. Nicola Tesla and Albert Einstein were aware of the power of the many benefits of trance and used it to their advantage to solve complex problems and theories.

Motivational speakers such as Tony Robbins and neuroscientist and mystic Joe Dispenza started doing hypnotherapy. Working to build trust with clients and lead them to their unique outcomes takes talent and courage, the kind that can only be built through experiential learning, determination, and radical self-accountability. When I took on the name of the hypnotist, my bad habits had to die with me so that I could maintain my success and lead others to their own.

I named my practice Highest Self Hypnosis: As a way to keep myself accountable to my highest timelines and my greatest future and assist my clients in the adoption of radical self-care through personal accountability to their highest good. As I stand in my power I encourage others to do the same.

My goal as a Hypnotist is to show you the beauty of your subconscious mind and give you a roadmap of exploration so that you have the tools to create your perfect life outcomes. All hypnosis is self-hypnosis, it is a state of focused awareness that resembles meditation. In guiding you, I teach you how to access these powerful states of awareness.

Using hypnosis coupled with the law of attraction, I assist you in defining your goals and exploring your existing patterns of behaviors that keep you stuck. Enjoy the ambiance and atmosphere, as you implement positive suggestions for your highest good. Reset your subconscious to work for you, rather than against you.

The feeling of deep relaxation is wonderful, but the best part of the experience is going out in the world and noticing the effects of the transformation for yourself. Restore your body, mind, and spirit with proven techniques that really work. Experience relaxation that stays with you for years after the session, improving your quality of life and promoting your overall success and wellness.

“I care about what works, what truly brings magic into my life and the lives of others. In guiding you, I aspire to create transformational healing, happiness, and abundance by reminding you of your innermost power and worth!”

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?

I feel the hardest part was giving up all of the things that held me back from being my highest self, the attachments to my own negative emotional states, and habits. It was like a death, or more like an oath I made to myself to keep on loving myself no matter what and to grow into my unique self every day.

It required I take off the masks with others and show up for my values and for my goals every day.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
