Today we’d like to introduce you to Claudia Gebhardt.
Hi Claudia, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My story started when I accepted an offer to work as an Assistant Buyer 6 months before graduating college. Although I did not continue on that path, it did open the doors to the marketing world that I’ve been now in for over 6 years. Currently, I work full-time as a Senior Social Strategist at a credit repair company and own two businesses on the side.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I’ve learned a lot from working in corporate to running my own business. Both are challenging in their own ways, but honestly? I love the fact that I’m able to utilize my many skills to fulfill my purpose in life. So although there have been lots of ups and downs, I’m always up for a challenge. I actually prefer it that way!
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I run a social media marketing company for those in the wine industry, as well as creative businesses. I’m also the Founder and Editor of The Social Pour Magazine. It’s a digital quarterly magazine created for working women from those who work 9-5, run their own business, working moms, etc. Our issues feature articles from female and community leaders on wine, marketing, business, mental health, and other topics, written to educate and inspire.
What are your plans for the future?
Most of my plans consist of growing the magazine enough to be able to push it to print in 2023! We’ve seen incredible growth so far with just the Spring 2022 Issue and can’t wait to see how the Summer 2022 issue (live 6/1/22) will do!
