Community Highlights: Meet Jaylyn Bower of Game Show Battle Rooms Salt Lake City

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jaylyn Bower.

Hi Jaylyn, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
So I’m Jaylyn! I’ve always been passionate about people, energy, and creating fun, meaningful experiences—whether that’s through events, community work, or just getting people to laugh together. I spent several years as a military spouse, which meant moving all over the country, and that gave me this really unique opportunity to work in a wide variety of management and community roles. Every move pushed me to adapt, connect quickly, and build community wherever I landed—and that’s really shaped who I am as a person and as a leader.

When I moved back to Utah, I was ready to reconnect with the community and for something that matched my energy! That’s when I found Game Show Battle Rooms. The second I saw it, I thought, ‘This is totally me in business form.’ It’s high-energy, creative, competitive in the best way, and all about bringing people together. Now I get to lead an amazing team here in Salt Lake City, watch guests light up the room, and keep spreading that same fun, connected energy across the community. Honestly, it feels like everything I’ve done up to this point led me right here.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Oh, there were definitely some challenges getting Game Show Battle Rooms off the ground here in Salt Lake City! First off, introducing something totally new to the community! Most people had never experienced a live game show they actually get to be in! So there was a lot of educating, marketing, and basically convincing people, ‘No, seriously, you’re about to have the most fun ever.’
Then, building the right team was another adventure. You need people who can match the energy, host confidently, and make every guest feel like a star. Training that crew took patience, a lot of laughs, and maybe a few “oops” moments along the way.
Honestly, every obstacle just made us stronger. And now? Seeing guests come in, compete, laugh, and leave laughin—it’s 100% worth every crazy challenge we faced to make it happen.

As you know, we’re big fans of Game Show Battle Rooms Salt Lake City. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Game Show Battle Rooms is the original, one-of-a-kind interactive experience where you and your group actually become the stars of your own game show. We do groups from 6 to 80 people, so whether it’s an intimate team or a huge party, everyone gets in on the fun. And if you can’t make it to us? No problem—we also offer roadshows, bringing the full set and our amazing hosts directly to you.

What makes us different—and frankly, better than anything else out there—is that this isn’t just trivia or an escape room. It’s fully immersive, hands-on, high-energy, and designed so every single person walks away feeling like a winner. We’re known for our dynamic hosts, laugh-out-loud challenges, and the way we turn a simple night out into an unforgettable experience.

We’re proudest of the community we’ve built—watching people come in a little shy and leave buzzing with energy, connection, and memories they’ll talk about for weeks. Whether it’s a private game show, a corporate team-building event, or a roadshow for your school or community, we bring the fun, the competition, and the original Game Show Battle Rooms experience—because we really are the best at what we do.

Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
I think the interactive entertainment industry is only going to keep growing over the next 5–10 years. People are craving experiences that go beyond just watching or scrolling—they want to be part of the story, connect with others, and make memories together. That’s where Game Show Battle Rooms really fits in.

I see more demand for immersive, mobile experiences—like our roadshows—where entertainment comes directly to schools, workplaces, and communities. Technology will continue to play a role, but the heart of it will always be human connection, laughter, and friendly competition.

For us, it’s about staying ahead of trends, keeping the experience fresh, and expanding the Game Show Battle Rooms brand so even more people get to be a part of the fun. Honestly, the future looks exciting, because experiences like ours aren’t going anywhere—they’re only becoming more sought-after.
