Today we’d like to introduce you to Jesse & Ambry Fisco.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
We started as investors. We lived in our first home while flipping it from top to bottom. When we went to sell the home we had a negative experience with our agent. We decided that, if we could do half the job this agent did, then we would be just fine.
We both got licensed at the same time and continued to focus on our investments. We bought 2 duplexes and were loving the real estate world. When we found out we were pregnant with Quincy, we decided to have Ambry quit her job and start focusing on real estate and be able to stay at home with the newborn. After 3 months of this, Ambry was too busy. I came home to her feeling very overwhelmed and feeling like she couldn’t do it all. At that moment we had to decide whether we should scale back, or if I should quit my job. The next day was my last day in the corporate world.
Fast forward 5 years and we now own a Real Estate Company, Fisco Real Estate, that helps over 50 families a year buy or sell their homes. We also opened up a mortgage company, a real estate investment firm, and have also established businesses in Tennessee (where Ambry is from).
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The biggest struggle was determining how much time and money we wanted to spend. Did we want to put in a lot of sweat equity, or did we want to leverage our savings of $10,000 to kickstart our business? We ultimately decided to do both. We made an investment of $6,000 into learning how to market to audiences on Facebook.
This was super challenging. One thing we learned quickly, is that this business is very emotionally driven. We had over $50,000 in pending transactions, so we decided to book a cruise. Over the following week, every one of the pending deals fell through and our clients decided to postpone their home search.
It was a challenge because we literally had no savings after that. Since then the struggles we have been dealing with are more on time management, scheduling, and making sure we have quality family time.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
We specialize in helping people buy and sell real estate. We focus on creating a communication-driven experience. We want our clients informed on the home THEY are buying. A lot of times we hear stories about others not appreciating their previous Realtor because he/she did not communicate effectively.
We have put in place 2 other employees that schedule appointments, send weekly updates, and most importantly inform the buyer what they are signing. Ambry and I make it our mission to explain both the pros and cons of every decision they make. We feel more like coaches and less than realtors.
We also love focusing on creating relationships outside of the real estate. We throw quarterly client appreciation events, we have sent clients to Disney land, moved people for free with professional movers, and most importantly we have a McLaren MP4-12C that we allow our clients to frequently take on date nights and other special occasions.
If it were not for our clients, we would not be where we are at. We want to make sure they know that!
We sell homes for a total list price of 4% that covers both the buyer’s and seller’s fees.

We want to thank God for this life we live. We appreciate our family and friends who have supported us along the journey. Many people do not understand how much it means to us when they leave a review, comment about their experience on a Facebook post, and also refer their friends.
