Today we’d like to introduce you to Jhill Seraphina.
Hi Jhill, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I’ve always been drawn to healing, nurturing, and taking care of people and massage is the path that was right for me. As a young girl, I earned money by massaging my mom’s feet. When walking through the mall, we would pass the massage studio and I loved the smell of the oils and wanted to have a career like that. I started 15 years ago as a massage therapist, happy to provide relaxation and physical relief to my clients.
Ten years into my massage career, I felt called to further help my clients on their healing journeys. Energy work felt like the next right step and I became certified in Reiki. After learning to incorporate Reiki into the massage, I saw the impact it had on my clients and fell in love with deepening my practice and went on to become certified in sound healing and then shamanism.
These have come together to create a massage practice that I love; one filled with connected, in-depth sessions.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My career as a massage therapist went very smooth for the first 10 years; everything felt clear to me and I loved helping my clients feel better. When I first learned Reiki, it opened up a challenge in my career. Massage is a very physical, hands-on practice and Reiki is a very spiritual, hands-off practice. I struggled to figure out how to incorporate such polar opposite modalities into a seamless in-depth session for my clients. It took time, patience, and listening to my intuition to create the beautifully integrated sessions I now provide.
The introduction of energy work into my life also brought on another obstacle: reconciling my religious views with the spiritual and etheric views I was learning and witnessing through energy work. It took a lot of time and study to see and understand that religion and energy work can not only coexist, but can add to, strengthen, and deepen each other. I now love that my energy work practice deepens my religious practice and my religious views help me connect to healing energy with ease.
Once I had integrated energy work into my massage practice, I was pushed to do this deep inner work on myself as a daily practice so I am capable of holding space for my clients. The deep work is hard and forces me to live in discomfort and face my shadows regularly. Although difficult, doing this has helped me step into my power and become the woman I am today, a woman who knows who she is and how she can help others.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Vibes of Light?
At Vibes of Light, I have a holistic healing and massage practice. I love getting trained in many modalities so I am equipped with many tools in my belt to work with during a session. I am a licensed massage therapist, Reiki Master, sound healer, and a Shaman of the Andean lineage. I am also currently working on becoming a certified breathwork practitioner.
Beyond my certifications, I have several natural gifts that add to my practice. I am a physical empath, so I can feel inside my body where my client is hurting, when their energy shifts, or where it’s getting stuck. I am clairvoyant, clairsentient, and claircognizant. With my clairvoyance, I can see animal spirits and angels, and when ancestors show up. I can also see parts of the body glow when it needs attention. With clairsentience, I just know what my client needs, what essential oil their body wants, and know what their next step is. With claircognizance, I can ask questions and receive immediate, clear answers.
These certifications and gifts come together to create what I call Reiki-Sound Healing-Massages. Each session is individualized and catered to my clients and their individual needs. One of the things I love most is that I only see 2-3 clients per day. I spend quality time with each client, truly diving into their emotional state, and their current needs, and customize sessions accordingly.
A session with me will pull from all of the modalities I am trained in. Clients receive sound healing and energy work during their massage. My energy healing training and abilities are extensive and can include work on raising my client’s vibrations, cutting energetic cords that are holding them back, soul fragmentation retrieval, balancing the chakras, and connecting with the energies of Ascended Masters, such as Christ and Buddha to bring in love, light, and healing.
Anyone can benefit from a session with me, but I especially love to work with people that doctors can’t figure out, because they aren’t trained in how our energetics effect our physical body! I specialize in emotional injury. I love to work with the heartbroken, the depressed, the stuck, and people who are confused about their life path and what direction they should be going. I help you be the best YOU with the least amount of resistance.
Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
Tammy Ward has been my business mentor, friend, and guide. I would not be where I am today in business or my personal life without this incredible woman!
Dannielle Bryan owns Shamanic Twist and has brought Shamanism to Utah. She guided me through the medicine wheel, taught me how to use Shamanism in the modern world, and gifted me the rites to be a shaman. I am so grateful to her and all I have learned from her.
I am currently in Jana Young’s breath work practitioner program. She is an amazing human and all who come into contact with her are blessed.
