Today we’d like to introduce you to Marie Mendes.
Hi Marie, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Well, my history is quite long! I come to USA during Covid with my son in 2020, life was real hard, I used to teach English at home so cleaning was never really my kind of thing. When I first arrived here started working for people, I used to go to customers’ house working to cleaning companies, but I was always getting exhausted, over working and not making a decent money. I actually started this project a year ago, but I got married and divorced very fast and that affected me a lot! I worked for few months in a restaurant as a manager but in the end, I decided to go back to my old project.
It was really hard to start from the scratch with barely any money but with a lot of hard-working and knowing some good people my business finally kicked and now I have enough customers to support my family and I’m hoping to grow more where I will need to hire people to work with me.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Loads of struggles! Especially when you are a single mom and have no money to put down to start a business.

It’s a cleaning business. The difference between my company and other companies is the attention to detail. Most companies don’t “overdo”, that’s what makes me the best in this business.
People know me for that and they highly recommend me for this very reason.
