Community Highlights: Meet Nick Wood of Digital Landlords

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nick Wood.

Hi Nick, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
I grew up on my family’s generational alfalfa farm in southern Utah and that’s where I learned the power of a hard work ethic. It’s a very “shut up and do it” mentality to work on a farm, you have to put in the hours even when you don’t want to and that was a powerful metaphor for life.

I used that mentality throughout all my summers as a 20-something knocking on doors trying to sell this and that. I used that mentality when I started an app company and then a tech company and both landed me $60,000 in debt. I used that mentality when I discovered what I do for a living now and had to teach myself and learn it all on the fly.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I’ve gone from working on a farm to running a multiple 7-figure business from my phone and laptop. That’s pretty d*mn cool if you ask me, and it’s all a testament to hard work.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Digital Landlords?
Digital Landlords is a thriving online course community that instructs users how to make potentially life-changing passive income through ranking and rending digital real estate.

In my opinion, it’s the best business model on the internet and I’ve seen it earn my students anywhere from $10,000 a month consistently, all the way up to $45,000 a month for one of my students. It’s my mission to inspire the next generation of digital entrepreneurs to break free from the 9-5 and live a life of financial freedom.

Networking and finding a mentor can have a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
The best way to get people’s attention is not to seek it, because if you’re doing it right by just putting your head down and working, people will begin to take notice.

Add value when networking and seeking a mentor, don’t just ask for something, show that you’re someone worth working with!
